1990-1991: Mission in the People’s Republic of Angola.
1998-1999: Third Secretary of the Permanent Mission of Cuba to the United Nations Organization.
2000-2001: First Secretary, and official of the North America Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MINREX, by its Spanish initials).
2002-2004: Lead Specialist, Cabinet of the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
2004-2008: Counsellor, and Deputy Chief of the Embassy of Cuba in the Argentine Republic.
