PAKISTÁN, 26 de marzo de 2019.- El ministro de Relaciones Exteriores de Pakistán, Excmo. Sr. Shah Mahmood Qureshi, recibió este martes al embajador de Cuba, Gabriel Tiel Capote, en la sede de la Cancillería. El Ministro agradeció la ayuda médica prestada por Cuba en ocasión del fuerte terremoto que azotó zonas del país en el año 2005 y dijo valorar altamente la dignidad de Cuba y de su líder Fidel Castro.
El embajador aprovechó la ocasión para agradecer el tradicional y valioso apoyo de Pakistán a favor de la Resolución que se presenta cada año en la AGNU para poner fin al bloqueo impuesto por los EE. UU. contra Cuba.
Durante el encuentro, pasaron revista a los principales temas de las relaciones bilaterales y constataron la voluntad de los dos países de fortalecerlas, y de ampliar los vínculos económico-comerciales en beneficio mutuo. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan receives the Ambassador of Cuba
PAKISTAN, March 26, 2019.- The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, H. E. Mr. Shah Mahmood Qureshi, received today the ambassador of Cuba, Gabriel Tiel Capote, in the headquarters of the Foreign Ministry.
The Minister thanked Cuba for its medical aid during the strong earthquake that hit areas of the country in 2005 and said that it highly values the dignity of Cuba and its leader, Fidel Castro.
The Ambassador took the opportunity to thank the traditional and valuable support of Pakistan in favor of the Resolution that is presented every year in the UNGA to end the blockade imposed by the United States against Cuba. During the meeting, they reviewed the main issues of bilateral relations and verified the will of the two countries to strengthen them, and to expand economic-commercial ties for mutual benefit.
