Cuba and Angola hold talks between chambers of commerce

Angola's and Cuba's Directors of the commercial chambers examined on Thursday common interests and potential businesses in order to broaden and diversify commercial exchange and bolster reciprocal investments. Due to Covid-19, the forum was held by videoconference with the participation of the president of the board of directors of Angola's Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIA), Vicente Soares; and the head of the homologous institution in Cuba, Antonio Luis Carricarte.

Honduran national congress approves award of high decoration to Henry Reeve brigade

The National Congress of Honduras approved on Thursday to give a high decoration to the Cuban medical brigade Henry Reeve for the results achieved in this country in the fight against the COVID-19. According to a tweet published by the Cuban embassy to Honduras, this award will recognize the work of Cuban doctors in support of the pandemic that has its epicenter in the Americas.

Cuba and the United Nations today signed the UN Framework Cooperation Agreement

Cuba and the United Nations System (UNS) signed Thursday the United Nations Framework for Cooperation for Sustainable Development, which will guide the support of the different agencies, funds and programs over the next four years. Rodrigo Malmierca, head of the Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment Ministry and Consuelo Vidal, Resident Coordinator of the UNS in Cuba, signed the agreement in the protocol rooms of this institution.
